Come join our team! We have some openings. If you love to cook and serve kids, or if you prefer to do the food service paperwork behind the scenes, please apply to our kitchen. If you love to have some time alone to clean, listen to a good podcast, and see the work you have accomplished in an evening, please call about our custodial position! We also need substitute teachers, which is a fast-paced job that is never the same two days in a row. Do you love to watch our Moguls compete in athletic competitions? Well, we'll pay you to go! We need bus drivers; if you would like to get your CDL endorsement, call us, we'll help you get it. If you don't have your CDL endorsement, call us, we have options for you to still drive!

What do you know about bats? The Primary Class knows a lot. They have shared with some high school friends. Now, they are looking to share with the public. Come to the YMCA Giving Thanks dinner on Thursday from 5:30-7pm at the school to see their display.

Bill Christensen from the Department of Labor and Resources will be presenting on the new Start Today SD program at the city library on Wednesday, October 18 at 5:30. He will discuss the program from the perspective of potential apprentices and employers. The presentation will last an hour. This is a particularly good opportunity as the program provides dollars to the employer to be spent on salary and/ or other expenses.

🎉 Exciting News! 🕺💃 Edgemont School District students had a blast learning the art of Salsa dancing from the amazing Jamey McCaskill, a renowned dance instructor! Our Spanish K-12 teacher, Garland Wright, organized these lively dance lessons to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 - October 15. 🌟 🌍 The students not only perfected their Salsa moves but also delved into the origins of salsa dancing and practiced the art of being a good dance partner. Learning to escort a lady on and off the dance floor was a charming touch, along with always asking, "may I have this dance?" 💬 💪 Dancing isn't just fun, it's a fantastic way to stay physically fit! Kudos to everyone involved for creating an enriching experience that embraces culture, movement, and unity. 💃🕺 🌟 "To dance is to be out of yourself. Larger, more beautiful, more powerful." - Agnes De Mille 💃✨ Dive into the world of dance, where expression knows no bounds and the joy knows no limits. Let's keep dancing through life's rhythms! 🌈🕺 #EdgemontDances #HispanicHeritageMonth #SalsaFun #FullSteamAhead #MightyMoguls https://youtu.be/pZK8QaG4VLM?feature=shared

📚 Our young book enthusiasts in grades 3, 4, and 5 had a blast at our recent after-school book club meeting! 🎉 🍽️ First, they enjoyed a delicious dinner and dived into lively discussions about the books they've been reading. 🗣️📖 Then, the creativity flowed as the group who read "Ivan, The One and Only" designed their very own zoos! 🐾🏞️ They put on their thinking caps, pondering what makes the perfect animal enclosure. 🤔🦁 🧠 Another group, inspired by "Restart," delved into neuroscience, coloring brains and exploring the brain's role in actions and feelings. 🌈💭 They also had thoughtful reflections on self-perception and empathy, gaining valuable insights into how we view ourselves and how others perceive us. 🌟 👏 Kudos to our amazing students for their enthusiasm and inquisitive minds! Let's keep exploring the world of books and ideas together! 🌍📚 #BookClubMagic #LearningIsFun #YoungMindsInAction 🌟
